Coachella Celebrates 20 Years With New Documentary

Coachella Music Festival is releasing a new documentary on YouTube to celebrate 20 years of the festival's music, art and good times.

Days after announcing the full artist lineup on Twitter, a trailer was released of the documentary to celebrate 20 years of the festival. 

The trailer for “Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert” premiered on YouTube Tuesday and features clips of crowds over the course of the festival’s history. The full film will premiere on March 31. 

Not much is known about what the full documentary, YouTube released a statement about the feature writing it will have, “exclusive, never-before-seen footage and interviews.”

A few weeks after the headliners were announced, Coachella Music Festival has released the complete line up of musicians for the three-day festival. 

The music festival posted on Twitter Thursday tickets for the first weekend of the event was sold out, but people could register for weekend two presale tickets at Coachella.com starting Jan. 6 at noon pacific time. 

Weekend one of the festival will take place from April 10-12 and weekend two will occur April 17-19. About a week before releasing the full lineup of artists,  the headliners for the event were announced as Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean. 

Other notable artists include Megan Thee Stallion,  Big Sean, Charli XCX, DaBaby, 21 Savage, Lana Del Ray, Doja Cat and more.
