Megan Thee Stallion And Normani Release Collaboration ‘Diamonds'

After weeks of dropping hints and teasers, the collaboration between Megan Thee Stallion and Normani for the movie “Birds of Prey” is out.

The first hit off of the soundtrack for motion picture “Birds of Prey” has been released and the two leading ladies give a throwback feel to remind us of a time honored favorite.

The new song “Diamonds” from rapper Megan Thee Stallion and R&B singer Normani put s a modern and funky twist on the 1949 jazz hit by Marilyn Monroe.

Known for hits “Hot Girl Summer” and “Motivation” respectively, the video for the hit feature the duo in a crazy carnival like setting to match the movie. Throughout the video, clips of actress Margot Robbie as titular character Harley Quinn are merged with actions from Megan and Normani.

The clips in the video also provide a closer look into scenes from the motion picture, which will be released Feb.7.

“Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)” is the sequel to the 2016 DC Universe film “Suicide Squad.” The film follows Harley Quinn after a crushing split from the Joker. She then teams up with superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to save Gotham City.

The soundtrack for the film is already anticipated to be more successful than the “Charlie’s Angels” project released in 2019. The 15-track album features several top-charting artists, including Doja Cat, Saweetie & Galxara, Lauren Jauregui and Summer Walker.
